For immediate release:
Long Beach, CA. November 19, 2016- Leah Willis Dance Arts announced today that their CEO and Artistic Director will be
performing at the Museum of Latin American Art’s Craft & Beyond Festival, on December 4, 2016. The theme of this
festival is to celebrate the art of crafting and DIY culture. A number of local artists and artist collectives will lead
demonstrations and workshops, and display original handcrafted items for sale. Live music and performances will take place
starting at 11:00 AM.
“My goal for participating in this Festival is to showcase, engage and inspire the community-not simply about the dance styles
and academics that we offer-but to take everyone through the artistry, history, importance, technique, beauty, significance,
professionalism, and joy of our program. I am only meant to be the face of our organization in this regard,” Ms. Willis said.
