The Muny Welcomes Leah Willis Dance Arts

Date: August 11, 2019

The LWDA Dancers both from our past Academic Season, and the new upcoming Summer Session, will have the amazing opportunity to perform at the Historic Muny Lichtenstein Plaza this Summer! This amazing event will be the highlight of the LWDA Curriculum and technical learning our Dancers are progressing through, throughout the course of the academic year. The Professional Performance Experience included in our Program, offers these young Dancers the opportunity to gain invaluable artistic skill in professional stage etiquette, terminology and presence, as well as learning skills in time management, accountability, and confidence. It also allows them to be an inspiration to their peers and those younger than they are, to let their talents shine, and pursue their dreams.

This opportunity will offer great exposure to the professional realm for our Students, opening doors for them for their future Artistic careers and endeavors. Having participated in an event such as this will also instill our students with a great sense of confidence, self-worth, and achievement. The sky truly is the limit, and we hope to help our students soar!

The Muny is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to enrich lives by producing exceptional musical theatre, accessible to all, continuing its remarkable tradition in Forest Park. Now in their 101st year, The Muny is America's Oldest and Largest Outdoor Musical Theater. The LWDA Dancers will join in an Historical thread of St. Louis, when they perform on the last day of the Summer Pre-Show Festivals on Sunday, August 11, 2019. Grab a seat, it's going to be a fantastic night!

See you on Stage!!
